Minerva, goddess of wisdom and the arts, is, according to myth, the daughter born directly from the head of Jupiter, whose mind and thoughts she shares. As guide to heroes, she dispenses her father's wise counsel to them so that they may build, through words and deeds on earth, a civilisation that mirrors heavenly perfection. 
As protector of human civilisation, Minerva is a warrior goddess armed with a helmet, spear and aegis, Jupiter's shield used to defend the city. 
Inspired by the goddess's shield, the Minerva earrings reproduce the round shape of the aegis in 18-carat white gold and natural brilliant-cut white diamonds, a tribute to the goddess's purity, crossed by an 18-carat yellow gold band symbolising the vivid light of day dispensed by Jupiter.
